More appointment slots for processing of passports have been added to all consular offices and temporary off-site passport service (TOPS) around the country, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said.
Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Brigido Dulay said DFA Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. ordered the additional slots for passport processes in a bid to ease the passport backlog.
“[W]e’ve opened more appointment slots in all our 36 consular offices and 20 TOPS sites nationwide,” Dulay announced on Twitter.
The additional slots are opened until September 2022.
“There are now available slots this June all (to) way to Sept 2022. No need to wait! Apply now!” Dulay added.
