Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 3) — Oil companies are expected to implement a rollback on fuel products on Tuesday next week, the Unioil Petroleum Philippines said.
According to the forecast, per-liter prices of diesel and gasoline should go down by ₱1.50 - ₱1.70 and ₱2.50 - ₱2.70, respectively.
Early this week, oil companies increased the prices of diesel and kerosene by ₱6.10 per liter, and gasoline by ₱1.40 per liter.
The Department of Energy said net price increases since the start of the year for gasoline, diesel and kerosene stood at ₱19.55, ₱37.80 and ₱33.20 per liter, respectively, as of Aug. 30.
