MANILA – Most parts of the country will experience warm weather, the weather bureau said Monday.
"There is no weather disturbance (currently affecting the country) and it will be warm, especially in huge parts of Luzon and the Visayas," said forecaster Aldczar Aurelio of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA)
The easterlies will cause scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Bicol Region, and the provinces of Isabela, Aurora and Quezon.
Flash floods or landslides are likely in these areas due to scattered light to moderate to at times heavy rains.
The rest of the country will experience isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms and the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) affecting Mindanao.
Moderate winds and moderate seas will prevail over the northern and eastern sections of Luzon.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas.
