MANILA, Philippines — Motorists woke up to another increase in fuel prices on Tuesday, with oil companies raising the pump prices of gasoline and diesel by as much as 80 centavos per liter.
In separate advisories, local oil companies hiked the price of gasoline by 80 centavos per liter, while the price of diesel went up by 60 centavos per liter.

In contrast, the price of kerosene declined by a measly 10 centavos per liter.
The price adjustment is a spillover of last week’s price increases for gasoline and diesel as companies worldwide raced to shore up the supply of petroleum products amid rising global demand, according to the Department of Energy.
