Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, June 12) – Oil companies on Monday announced a fuel price hike this week of more than a peso per liter.
In separate advisories, Seaoil, Petro Gazz, Jetti, Phoenix, Unioil, PTT, Petron, Flying V and Clean Fuel said the cost of gasoline will increase by ₱1.20 per liter and diesel by ₱1.40 per liter on Tuesday.
Seaoil, Flying V and Petron also said kerosene will cost ₱1.30 more per liter.
The Department of Energy said kerosene prices are at a net decrease of ₱7.35 per liter and diesel at ₱5.35 per liter year-to-date.
Gasoline so far posted a net increase of ₱5.50 per liter.
On June 6, oil companies cut gasoline and kerosene prices by 60 centavos per liter and diesel by 30 centavos per liter.
