Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 16) — The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has announced that it will re-open the appointment schedule for transport network vehicle service (TNVS) applications for a month starting May 17.
The LTFRB said it will accept 200 applicants per day, with each applicant only allowed one unit to be used as a TNVS vehicle.
On April 30, the agency opened 7,870 TNVS slots to address the increasing demand for public transport.
Seven thousand slots were allotted for the National Capital Region, 220 for Central Luzon, 500 for the Bicol Region, and 150 for Western Visayas.
Rejected applicants due to inadequate requirements are asked to create a new account using a new email, the LTFRB said.
